TRANS Studio World is an integrated tourism area in Makassar city peninsula. It is a large indoor theme park. Trans Studio Makassar have more than 20 thematic games (theme park) and equipped with various facilities such as shopping malls, restaurants, hotels, and marina. Trans World Studio located in the Tanjung Bunga Integrated Global Tourism and Business Area, Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The distance is only about five kilometers from Makassar center city (Karebosi Field).
Trans Studio World complex extends in southern coast of Makassar City region with approximately 14 hectares wide. It is consists of three main parts, namely Trans Studio Walk, Trans Studio Theme Park, and Trans Studio Hotel & Residential.
Trans Studio Walk is a shopping mall that has a different concept of shopping malls in general. It was designed as a shopping tourism arena that has a convenience as tourism object. Has thematic design of marine tourism and tropical nature tourism with The Trans Aquatic Atrium and The Trans Tropical Atrium. Trans Studi Walk decided into some part such as fashion arena (fashion hub), culinary tourism arena (gourmand emporium), and arena of entertainment and leisure (leisure & entertainment).
Meanwhile, Trans Studio Theme Park is thematic arena of entertainment and games that adopt concept of Universal Studios, Disneyland, Magic Kingdom, Caesar Palace, and Movie World. The thematic entertainment and games arena simulation spaces of several Trans TV station program, or some exciting and desperate events in Indonesia. Some of them are Magic Corner, Lost City, Terror Twister, Kids Studio, and more.
Trans Hotel Studio & Residential is an area of hotel, apartments, and marina. In this location, you can enjoy and relax the star hotel service and beautiful panorama of Makassar Strait. You can also try water game such as jet ski, banana boat, or travel to some beautiful islands with tour ships.
Trans Studio Walk and Studio Theme Park began operating in September 2009. Trans Studio Hotel & Residential is still under development. Gradually, the whole prestigious entertainment project will be completed in 2010.
